Evolution playful learning
Our world is increasingly populated by intelligent technologies, and playful and game-based learning environments. Since 2003, we have studied playful learning in different learning contexts and found it as one of the key approach in teaching and learning. We believe that playful learning has much potential in all grades and school levels. Previous research show that playful learning can enhance academic achievements and promote various competence areas. It also show that playful learning enhance motivation and joy of learning within students.
One aspect of playful learning is that it is creative and collaborative activity in formal and informal learning environments. If we think of the global society of the future as being based on collaborative creativity, what becomes relevant is not only the new technology, but also the modes and processes of acting and participating in learning and knowledge co-creation processes. The playful learning pedagogy provide a framework for designing playful learning and using digital technologies creatively in the classroom and beyond.
